1. Cows

The most famous grass eater has to be the cow. This magnificent creature can eat up to 30 pounds of grass a day when fully grown.

3. Horses

Next up we have an iconic grass lover: horses. Horses love grass and hay, as well as apples and fruits.
4. Hippos

Surprisingly, hippos can eat up to 80 pounds or more of grass per day!
5. Caterpillars

6. Sheep

Sheep spend the majority of their days grazing on grass and weeds. What a life!

When sloths come to ground level, they often eat grass. However, they’re usually situated up in trees, where they find most of their food.
24. Deer

A zebra’s diet is 90% grass! They also eat twigs and other leaves when they can’t find grass.
There you have it! 25 animals that eat grass. I find it fascinating how some animals can survive almost solely on grass, while others use it as more of a snack. Meanwhile, us humans can’t eat it at all as there’s basically no nutritional value for us because our bodies can’t break grass down.
